Conference of Father Nicolae Tanase, November 26, 2023, after St. Liturgy
Father Nicolae built a church in communist times that strengthened the community of believers. Then, after the 1989 Revolution, Father Nicolae began preaching about life, speaking openly about abortion and the sins of such crimes. Aware of the fact that some young women could not afford a child for socio-economic reasons, he founded the Pro Vita Association in 1994. For life! This association received into it’s care, for a time or permanently, children saved from abortion, as well as orphans and street children.
Priceless Smiles
Religion course: “Saints, friends of children” (the 29th of October 2023)
Early birds! Miruna and Ioan came to church in the morning, Miruna wrote and prepared his remembrance/almsgiving, and Ioan helped Father George Bliortu in the holy altar! One by one, all the children gathered at the service, came to the front to say the Creed and helped Cyprian, our singer, to sing at the Divine Liturgy!
The religion lesson followed, where all the children did their homework in advance, were more active than ever and amazed us with their beautiful answers! The lesson ended with the children enjoying delicious sweets offered by Elena’s Art-Crafts, whom we thank for always spoiling us! 🥰
The project “Hi! Come and get to know Romania together!” is carried out with the support of the Department for Romanians Abroad and in collaboration with “Welcome to God” Parish – Glasgow and “Fanus Neagu” School Braila.
