Project “Hi! Come and get to know Romania together!”

Our project: “Hi! Come and get to know Romania together!” has as a final aim, the inauguration of the “Saint Nicholas” Romanian School in Glasgow. This project is being carried out with the support of the Department for Romanians Abroad and has as partner the “Fanus Neagu” School in Braila. 
 

Within this project we will carry out many activities during the inauguration in Glasgow, such as: a religion course for children “The Saints, children’s friends”, a creative and cheerful workshop named “Skilfull hands”, a conference with father Nicolae Tanase  from Pro Vita Valea Plopului Social Center, a children’s celebration and much more! 

 At this important event we have many important guests, including His Eminence Joseph, Metropolitan of Western and Southern Europe, Ms. Miriam El-Hek, Deputy Ambassador at the Romanian Embassy in London, consuls from Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Belfast, priests of the Romanian Orthodox parishes in Edinburgh, Dundee, and Aberdeen, Father Nicolae Tănase, founder of the “Pro-Vita” association, Father Mark, parish priest of the Greek Orthodox Parish ‘St. Luke’ in Glasgow, will also receive congratulatory messages from the British Embassy in Bucharest and Chisinau. The event will be covered by Trinitas TV and by the press in Scotland and Great Britain.
