Religion course: “Saints, friends of children” (the 15th of October 2023)
Another wonderful Sunday with the children of our school, who enjoyed a new religion lesson! There are many beautiful things that have filled our soul with joy and we want to share them with you! ❤️
The children participated so beautifully today in the Divine Liturgy, said the Creed and prayed with their parents. It seems that David and Daniel liked it in the choir stall, so today they brought their friends: Sofia, Maria and Alexandra, Raphael and Ioan and our youngest student, Ana Maria, who has just learned to walk!
Valentina took special care today that her brother Stefan and her cousin Olivia were properly on their knees and corrected them all the time! Daniel, who celebrated his birthday today, took communion and was congratulated by all his colleagues! With Daniel, we have a few more celebrants this week, and before our class started, we sang happy birthday to Daniel, Luca and Stefan!
In the religion lesson, the children outdid themselves! They all did their homework, which they presented with great joy and were always stood with their hands up, eager to answer! More and more children choose to participate in our course, so we now have double the number of children compared to when we started! And because we talked at the course about St. Nicholas’ care for children, we want to share with you how St. Nicholas took care of us! We started to worry about how we would be able to provide all the course materials, school supplies and folders to all the children. But it didn’t take long and Elena’s Art-Crafts brought us everything we needed, and even more, so that all new children can participate in our course! Thank you and we assure you that your investment will bring fruits that will endure in the souls of all the children!
The project “Hi! Come and get to know Romania together!” is carried out with the support of the Department for Romanians Abroad and in collaboration with the “Meeting of our Lord” Parish – Glasgow and “Fanus Neagu” School in Braila.
