The “Fanus Neagu” School in Braila

The “FĂNUȘ NEAGU” Secondary School is located in Braila, and educates children aged between 6 and 14/15 years. Every school year, in the subjext of religion, students have won numerous prizes at Olympiads and competitions both at county and national level: the Olympiad of Religion, the Interdisciplinary Olympiad “Romanian Culture and Spirituality”, the contest dedicated to Saint Nicholas – the protector of Braila, the international contest “Together with Christ through the world in the third millennium” etc.
Every year, the school carries out numerous educational projects in partnership with various institutions. A special place is occupied by extracurricular projects and activities with religious themes in which students participate: celebrating the spiritual protector of the school – Saint Spiridon; projects: ” Art, culture and humanity in Romanian traditions”, “Letters to heaven from a child’s soul”, “Holidays – occasion for joy”; partnerships with nursing homes to support the elderly, etc.
