Religion course: “Saints, friends of children” (the 8th of September 2023)

Yesterday, September 8th, children from the „Fanus Neagu” School in Braila and the St. Nicholas Romanian School in Glasgow participated in the first lesson of the religion course ‘Saints, children’s friends’! A beautiful meeting, full of good cheer, in which children learned what it means to be holy, ways to honour saints, the importance of holiness nowadays and verified their knowledge about the patron saints they know! The next meeting will take place at the church on Sunday, September 17, after the Divine Liturgy, and the participants are awaited with a super surprise!

This course is part of the activities of the project ‘Hi! Come and get to know Romania together!’ realized with the support of the Department for Romanians Abroad and in partnership with the ”Meeting of our Lord” Parish – Glasgow and „Fanus Neagu” School, Braila! Tomorrow starts the second activity, ‘Skillful Hands’ creative workshop!
